Q
How is fish meal processed
A
Fish meal is a feed additive. The purpose of fishmeal production is to destroy cell tissue, dissolve oil, kill microorganisms, inhibit the action of enzymes, remove water, reduce body weight and weight, prevent the reproduction of microorganisms, and is conducive to preservation and utilization.
Fish meal is a food and fertilizer made from the leftovers in the processing and production of aquatic products. First, the raw materials are sent to the chopper into small pieces, then sent to the cooking machine, directly heated with steam for cooking, and then sent to the screw oil press through the screw conveyor, and then dried into finished products. The liquid part adopts centrifugal separation and natural sedimentation to separate fish oil, and the dissolved protein after fish oil separation is vacuum concentrated and dried in fish meal. Fish meal cakes contain a lot of water. To facilitate drying, the pressed cake is usually crushed and then dried in a desiccator. After drying, the prepared fish meal contains 10% moisture. It can be used for fishing and aquaculture production and processing activities in coastal and lake areas.
